Orders are shipped FOB Canby, Oregon, 97013, USA. We ship via UPS Ground Service, unless other shipping instructions are requested. For urgent orders, we will gladly expedite your order via UPS Air for guaranteed delivery within one, two, or three business days. If expedited shipping is needed, please follow up with our office at 503-651-5050 to confirm we have received your order.
We require full payment in advance for all international orders. Using a major credit card will expedite your order. Payment may also be made by bank draft, Swift transfer, or wire transfer in U.S. funds through a U.S. bank.
Upon receipt of your order, we will provide a Pro-Forma invoice for the full amount, including shipping costs and bank account details needed for wire transfer. Upon payment, we will ship your order within 3 business days. Please note that the customer is responsible for all duty fees and taxes. We usually ship UPS Worldwide Expedited, but are more than willing to use the customer‘s preferred carrier and account number.
While we do our best to avoid back orders, they occasionally do occur. For your convenience, all in-stock items are shipped within 3 business days with the back ordered item(s) indicated on the packing slip/invoice. If you do not want to accept a back order, or want us to hold shipment until your order is complete, please let us know when placing your order.
In the case of overpayment, a credit will be applied to your account. The credit may be used for future purchases, or refunded at your request. If your payment is less than required, you will be notified. Your order may be held until we receive the balance due.
Returns must be made within 30 days from the date of receipt. All returned goods must have a Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) number from our Customer Service staff. Please write the RGA number on the packing slip and the shipping label of your returned carton. All returns must be sent prepaid. Any return that is not prepaid will be refused. When an RGA number is given, it is predicated on the assumption that the merchandise will be returned in unused and saleable condition. Product returned that is not in unused and saleable condition will be returned and no credit will be given. Shipping charges are nonrefundable.
A 15% restocking charge may be placed on all returned merchandise. Merchandise received in other than saleable condition may be assessed a reconditioning charge or returned. The only exception to this policy is if the incorrect merchandise was shipped by VATA. If this is the case, we will have the product picked up at our expense and immediately ship you the correct merchandise.
We make every effort to package your order so it arrives safely. If you receive a package that you believe is damaged, please call UPS for an inspection of the damaged article. Save all boxes and packing material to prove the goods were packed properly. All damage claims must be reported to UPS within 10 days of receipt of merchandise. Shortages must be reported within 7 days of receipt.
All merchandise manufactured by VATA, Inc. is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 1 year from the product’s shipped date. This limited warranty covers all defects in material and workmanship in the VATA manufactured products except:
- Damage resulting from a failure to maintain and store the VATA product in accordance with product instructions, including failure to properly clean and store the product
- Damage resulting from abuse, neglect, accident, misuse or incorrect use of the VATA product
- Damage resulting from a repair or attempted repair of the VATA product
This limited warranty does not apply to any products offered by VATA that are not manufactured by VATA, but by other parties. These products may be warrantied by the manufacturer of the product. Please inquire on the warranty of a specific product item you are interested in prior to ordering. VATA is not responsible for damage or injury to persons or property that may result from improper use of our products.
