Welcome to our Spring 2026 Newsletter

Happy Spring!

A new season is a great time to check in on your training tools and make sure they’re clean, maintained, and ready for consistent, hands-on use.

We’re also sharing a few of the questions we hear most from educators and program leaders—along with simple, practical answers to help you get the most out of your VATA models.

What Educators Ask Most

When you’re choosing training tools, you want clear, reliable answers. Here are a few of the questions we hear most often:

How do I get a quote and what will it cost? Submit a Quote Request on our website or email info@vatainc.com with your items, quantities, and shipping address. Most quotes are turned around within 1–2 business days.

Do you offer volume discounts? Yes. Orders between $3,000–$6,999 receive 10% off, and $7,000+ receive 15% off.

How long do your models last? They’re built for repeated, hands-on training. Many are used for years. With replaceable parts and refurb options, they can go even further.

Can I replace parts or refurb models? In many cases, yes. If you’re not sure what’s available for a specific product, just ask. We’ll help you find the best option.

What are your lead times? Most standard products ship in about two weeks. On a tighter timeline? Let us know. We’ll do our best to help.

Do you ship internationally? We do. VATA products are used in training programs around the world.

How should I care for and clean my models? We get this one all the time. The good news is it’s usually pretty simple. Let’s take a look.

Spring Refresh: Simple Care Tips

Keeping your models in good shape doesn’t have to be complicated. In most cases, you already have what you need on hand.

A few simple habits can go a long way:

  • Use soap and water or isopropyl alcohol for routine cleaning
  • Remove dressings after each use to prevent buildup
  • Let models dry completely before storing
  • Flush and air dry any tubing or fluid systems after use
  • These small steps help extend the life of your models and keep them ready for consistent, hands-on training.

Product Spotlight: Vascular Access Ultrasound Phantom

Ultrasound-guided access is a skill built through repetition, variation, and real feedback. Having the right training tool makes all the difference.

This phantom is designed to support that process. It gives learners the opportunity to practice across a range of scenarios as their skills grow.

  • Multiple vessel configurations, including superficial, bifurcated, and deep vessels
  • Supports IV placement, PICC lines, and advanced access training
  • Allows educators to scale complexity as skills progress
